Exceptional HD video quality... 80dB dynamic range, though top 10dB brings the automatic gain control into play. Generally this is not noticable, but on dynamic, shrill sounds, clicks can be heard. Recording a musical instrument like a recorder shows this up particularly well. |

Magic lantern firmware improves the available dynamic range on all supported Canon Cameras, we suspect that the hardware is common across them all, but so far we've tested the 550D, 5D2 and 60D running Magic Lantern and they perform the same. 90dB dynamic range!
