This is a test of MP3 quality using RealPlayer to make the file from
Lindos CD2 and then play back via Yellowtek PUC USB 'soundcard'
Not bad, but note 16kHz rolloff. This is much better than the 11kHz response of 96kb/s MP3 and probably as good as needed. Though higher MP3 bitrates (192k - 256k) give a slightly flatter response around 16kHz they do not extend the response significantly. |
