PHASE DIFFERENCE R-L [z]

10k0 | 86.00 | | |
15k0 | 112.00 | | |
Test made by recording sequence onto the EOS 5DmkII and then playing back from a PC using a Yellow TEC PUC and Quicktime. Phase error has now been confirmed. Level results are to test the input impedance of the camera using the VA-5D2 and an adapter with 4k7s on both channels. Part way through the test the resistor on the left channel was shorted out. If the camera's input impedance is 4k7 then we would see a 6dB level increase. Actual increase was 4.2dB. Therefore true impedance is:
0.65 = R2 / (4k7 + R2)
R2 = (0.65 x 4k7) / 0.35
R2 = 8k7
