Excellent frequency response, noise not bad, but took a lot of effort to eliminate RF effects from the camera ground, and radiated RF, which were causing buzz. This camera uses a 2.5mm jack - do not use made-up leads with conductive plastic outer as they are not effective against the high-frequency processor noise radiated. Gain is extremely high, even on level setting 1, and avc cannot be turned off. This adapter sets a level low enough to avoid avc effects below +8dB AL, above which it can be seen to operate. Distortion is still low up to +18dB AL. |
