This result was obtained by playing the recorded file on a Western Digital media player. Note the anomaly in the high distortion at -20dB, which is a bit of a mystery but presumably a problem with the WD player that only shows up when playing 24-bit files, as it does not appear when the same file is played back on the Tascam.

Input trim (gain settings) set to +2.0dB. Mix levels set to 100. Mix pans set L10 and R10. With the input levels set to 0dB it was not possible to make the level indicators go past the 0 mark even with +19dBu in. As set +17dBu in just crosses the 0 mark and clipping is at about +18.5dBu.

Battery life is short (8 AA cells required!). Provision for a 2-cell Sony LiIon battery on the rear would be ideal.
