Excellent results - this is the only flash recorder tested to achieve even 16-bit performance (-68dB noise with +18dB FS).
Input trim (gain settings) set to +2.0dB. Mix levels set to 100. Mix pans set L10 and R10. With the input levels set to 0dB it was not possible to make the level indicators go past the 0 mark. As set +17dBu in just crosses the 0 mark and clipping is at about +18.5dBu.
Battery life is short (8 AA cells required!). Provision for a 2-cell Sony LiIon battery on the rear would be ideal. |
